The Problem
Leadership teams don’t need more data.
Signals are buried across Rocks, Scorecards, Issues, meetings, and conversations.
Leaders spend valuable time gathering context instead of making decisions.
Problems often surface only after progress, alignment, or momentum slips.
The solution
Ask in plain language.
Act on what you find.
How are our company Rocks looking, and what should I be worried about before our quarterly meeting?
Review our Leadership Team Scorecard and identify any gaps, risks, or missing measurables.
What recurring issues have surfaced across our leadership meetings over the past 90 days?
What trends, risks, or opportunities should our leadership team be paying attention to right now?
Based on our recent activity, what is the biggest risk to achieving our quarterly goals?
What patterns are emerging across our Scorecards, Issues, and Rocks that need attention?
Where is accountability slipping, and what should our leadership team address first?
What signals across our business suggest we may be drifting from our priorities?
Which goals, projects, or priorities are most at risk of falling behind this quarter?
What obstacles are slowing progress, and where should our leadership team focus first?
What issues keep resurfacing, and what might we be missing in our approach?
Where are teams misaligned, and what conversations should we be having right now?
What decisions are overdue, and what is the potential impact of delaying them further?
Where are we making progress that isn't being recognized, and what's at risk of losing momentum?
Which commitments made last quarter were not followed through on?

What is Maz?
Maz is the AI built into Ninety. It reads what your team already keeps in Ninety — Rocks, Scorecards, Issues, To-Dos, meeting history, the V/TO®, and the Accountability Chart® — and answers questions about it in plain language. Ask what’s at risk this quarter, and Maz answers from your data, not from a generic model’s guess.
How is this different from pasting our data into ChatGPT?
Maz already has the context. There’s nothing to export, paste, or re-explain, and the answer reflects the current state of your Rocks and Scorecard, not a snapshot from last Tuesday. When Maz finds something, you can create the Issue, To-Do, or Headline in the same conversation and route it to the right team or meeting.
Can everyone on the team use it? What do they see?
Maz respects the permissions each person already has in Ninety: the same teams, the same visibility. A manager asking about their team’s Rocks sees their team’s Rocks. Nobody gets a side door into private teams or someone else’s data by asking Maz instead of clicking through.
Do we need everything in Ninety before Maz is useful?
No. Maz works with whatever you’ve put in. A team running weekly meetings with a Scorecard and Rocks gets useful answers on day one; the picture gets sharper as Issues, To-Dos, and meeting history build up. There’s no setup, training period, or configuration — open Maz and ask.
Does Maz push us to run EOS exactly by the book?
Maz reads your data through an EOS lens, so it recognizes a Rock that’s slipping or a Measurable that’s been off track for three weeks. It doesn’t grade you on orthodoxy. It describes what’s happening in your business and leaves the judgment calls to your leadership team.
Can our EOS Implementer® use Maz with us?
Yes. Implementers with a seat in your Ninety account can use Maz the same way your team does, with the access you’ve given them. It’s useful between sessions: they can ask what’s changed since the last quarterly and arrive prepared without a status call first.
Can Maz actually do things, or just answer questions?
Both. Beyond answering, Maz creates and updates Rocks, milestones, To-Dos, Issues, Headlines, and Measurables. It also drafts SMART Rocks, drafts and refines Seats on the Accountability Chart, and reviews your Scorecard to recommend changes. You review each suggestion before anything changes.
