According to Chief Strategy Officer Fred Franks, the big win is being able to show Ninety’s ever-expanding capabilities to clients and FIT’s new hires. Tools like Meetings highlight the interactivity of L10s and establish more accountability and collaboration in client meetings. Having that level of automation is a far cry from the old days of tracking meeting outcomes in Word or OneNote. 

What’s more, clients see how incredibly powerful the platform is, and it gives those clients the ability to go back in and see all that’s captured in the system from each meeting. Franks notes that Ninety has also been instrumental for FIT to create a V/TO and keep all their Rocks on track. 

Using V/TO to Connect Vision and Execution

FIT sets up each client as a team in Ninety so they can see their agenda, add Issues, To-Dos, and more. This promotes a healthy level of accountability and has proven to be a powerful tool in the company’s client partnerships. But to Franks, the V/TO is a game changer for FIT and its clients.

“I really zoom in on the V/TO because it talks about the broader picture as an organization and where we want to be … that 10-year outlook. And [then] zooming into here’s what we’re trying to do in the next 90 days, and here’s where you can see at your department level what your department is trying to do in the next 90 days,” Franks said. “And even at the individual level, when you’re holding yourself accountable and reporting out with metrics and scorecards. I love being able to show that to our new hires as well as our clients.”

Driving Ninety Adoption Beyond the Leadership Team

For all the benefits Ninety offers, Franks is quick to note the importance of using it beyond the leadership level. “If you've adopted EOS/Ninety you can see the power of the operating system in your SLT [Senior Leadership Team]. But I would encourage people not to miss the fact that the same value you drive at SLT you could [also] drive at the department level,” Franks said. “Every company has issues at every level; they shouldn't just exist at the SLT level. Having a home for issues and a channel for those to be shared up and down is really important. If you are only using it at SLT, you don't realize the full value. You're missing out.”
