Updates: Settings, Updates: Feedback, Updates: User Customizations
To enhance the security of Ninety.io, we have implemented enhanced password restrictions, the option to use social sign-in via Google and Facebook and give admin the option to require multi-factor authorization for everyone within their company (MFA). Learn more about each of these updates below!
No one likes changing their password, but the good news is most users are already using secure passwords.
The new requirements for passwords are:
If you already have a password that meets these requirements, you are good to go! You will not see any changes when you next login.
If you do not have a compliant password, on your next login, you will update your password through this pop-up:
Cut down on remembering another password by logging on with Google or Facebook! One important note: the email associated with your Google or Facebook account must be the same as the email you use for Ninety.io.
If you wish to change your email to match for a social sign-in, please log in and visit My Account to update your Primary Email. This update will change the email you use to login and allow you to access via your social if that is your preference.
Owners/Admins can now require that all users activate MFA. This requirement means users could either use the social sign-in discussed above or a regular sign-in with an additional text verification code sent via text.
When inviting new users, a code verification will be provided via email and required by default when accessing their account for the first time.
